Very handy for your PlayTV, PSEye, Guitar Hero Guitar x2, Drums, mics etc...........What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about !!!0 -
But i don't wish to spend a penny over £200 on a ps3 ,
i am aware that an 80gb boxed can easily be had for £200 notes preowned and on a good day a 60gb as well , but as the cheapest ps3 is currently £220 and has half the hdd size of the aforementioned i am still in two minds about it.
i was thinking that if they gave 10% off then i would get it , but if they don't budge then i'll leave it.
BTW: i have took into account the cost in getting the console operational and i believe it in negligable : i can use the av cable from my ps2 and a usb charging lead costs no more than £6.99.
any and all comments are welcome but i didn't post specifically on moneysaving to save money - i merely wanted some advice from gen public!

if you dont want to spend over £200 then wait and you will get one new and complete when they start shunting old fat stocks0

is the size of the hard drive really that important to you? do you plan to download lots of films? if the price is a big issue then perhaps you are looking at the wrong console. you maybe should consider an xbox 360 or a wii.
you may have worked your way around things like the usb cable but have you not considered the lack of games with it? a brand new one may well give you at least one free game. then add the £6.99 for your usb cable and there is a diference of only £3. you really are making a mistake if you buy a display console, especially at that price.0 -
wouldn't buy it if i was you. I would just waittill the new one comes out, you never know in the run up tochristmas you'll prob get a way better deal
