I never wash my oven gloves - wouldn't want to put them in with a normal wash, as they are covered in grease and all sorts!
Tea towels - I also try to buy dark ones and haven't noticed too many stains.0 -

You're not supposed to use fabric conditioner on any towels, it stops them absorbing water. It also rots lycra so don't use it on swimming costumes or any other lycra stuff.0 -
I washed with aldi-bio, before coming dirty, and hang in the sun. Also try to use kitchen towels, to keep the t.t. clean, and keep some news tea t. when i have visitors0

I put them in the washing machine, usually when I am doing towels and tea towels, on a hot wash.0

I just chuck mine in with the tea towels, and wash as normal.

I've bought the silicone ones so they just go in the washing up bowl when they get grubby. I find the fabric ones lose their padding and heat proofing when you wash them.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A.
