Well, I tried to match your deal. Rang vodaphone and quoted what my "mate" had got, but was told that they couldn't do that. Apparently some of their staff have been disciplined forgiving crazy discounts, so it sounds like you got lucky laura! I'm going to go for the phones4u deal at £25 a month on the hero, and bolt on internet to it I think.

not sure if you looked at (I can't post the link to) the hotdealsuk thread but it is current and quite a few people are saying that they have to phone more than once to get the deal........just in case you are still interested

i know it wasn't your 1st choice phone anyway and i reckon a bargain is only a bargain if you really want it

Well, I'm sure I could live with the Magic @ £20pm. I may try vodafone again, I found that thread on HUKD and it does seem it may take a few goes. Can you explain exactly what you asked for? I see that people are comparing it to some 3 deal (although 3 do not have the magic). Did you mention that or just say "my friend got a Magic for £20 a month, i would like one too"?

Got it! Third time lucky. I spoke to a guy, and told him that I'd seen the deal on an internet forum, and he said that he could match that for me. Free Magic, 18 months, 600 mins and unlimited texts and internet, £20 a month for first 15 months (£40 thereafter, but can upgrade at month 16).

Very happy indeed with that. :T

Hi all, just registered to ask if anyone knows if this deal is still going? Looks like a great deal but I can't seem to find anything as good on the buymobilephones website (they seem to no longer do the Hero on T-mobile?)

There have been a few good deals mentioned on this thread but I can't seem to find any good Hero deals on T-mobile (would prefer t-mob over orange due to the 3gb data allowance, tho i guess 500mb is prob sufficient for most ppl?) from any of the usual suspects such as dialaphone, phones4u or buymobilephones...any1 come across any which are still available atm?

I think the Hero is known as G2 on T-Mobile. Try searching for that instead.
