my friend has talk talk, her computer spends more time b eing unable to connect to the internet or getting 404 errors becaus ehe connection has dropped than allowing her to surf.
bt is (i think) more expensive, but ive always had great customer service form their broadband, even when the fault was my computer, and they are easy enough to get through to. if im awake and in the house my internet is on, i have bts option 1 which i think is unlimited, i have never gone over useage and been charged more anyway. i did phone them up abaout a year ago and ask if i would be better with one of the other options, and they very honestly said no, 1 was the one i needed so dont bother upgrading and paying more.0 -
Leaving your broadband 'on' does not use any data. Heavy data usage is for things like downloading music, downloading or streaming videos (e.g. BBC iPlayer), online gaming, etc.
Just checking your email and surfing uses relatively little, you would probably find 2-5GB enough in this case.
Oh thanks - you can see I really know my stuff ha ha
In that case i dont have heavy usage at all then - I dont really download anything or watch videos etc so yes 2-5GB is enough.
So which one then! I get the impression Talk Talk are not too good - Im currently with Virgin on cable and not really had any problems - when i did the customer service was very good.
If i move from Virgin can i still access my blueyonder emails?0
