a drunk irish guy used to ring me at 3am. he never did grasp the fact that the number he had wasnt his mates and i wasnt going to let him sleep at my house either. It did make for some really funny conversations though but after a few friday/saturday nights being woken up i had to leave the phone off the hook.

    Update.
Just got off the 'phone haven spoken to the gentleman. Initially I was really nervous, not knowing how to begin. Fortunately he was very charming about it, and apologised. He did say he had written her number down at the end of the date, and either because of the wine, or her presence, he must have made a mistake.

She works in a shop, and he said it would be eay to have a 'chance' meeting with her in the future.

So everyone, if in this situation; I would advise making that 'phone call.

A 'chance' meeting? She's going to want the ground to swallow her the moment her stalker walks through the door.

Also, I'd be interested to know how they arranged the date in the first place if he didn't already have her number. Maybe he can use his previous method of communication. My guess is that they met in her shop, it was love at first sight (for him at least) and they arranged the date 'under the counter'.

I'm going to be reading the "Money Savers Arms" forum a lot and keep an eye open for 'help; date keeps bugging me at work' thread.
