So it's not free; you stole it.
The correct answer to the question "where can I get music for free?" is not "steal it from Tesco".
And I accidentally clicked "thanks" btw.0 -

It's not in the ethos of the forum to advocate the use software against the terms of the licence :rolleyes:0 -

Thanks for showing us all you are happy to steal from a hard working software developer and advertising the fact too.0 -

WinRAR is "shareware" (I think). So the poster probably didn't 'steal' it in the first place, but is now using beyond its 40 day trial which would be against the T&Cs I'm sure. It however doesn't force you to buy it.0 -
Why would you want to use Winrar when 7-zip offers better compression ratios and doesn't have an annoying pop-up saying buy-me?
Some people :rolleyes:0 -
It is indeed shareware, the licence is here: http://www.win-rar.com/winrarlicense.html
"Anyone may use this software during a test period of 40 days. Following this test period of 40 days or less, if you wish to continue to use WinRAR, you MUST register."
"To register you must buy RAR. See buy WinRAR for details."
"Installing and using RAR/WinRAR signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions of the license.
If you do not agree with the terms of this license you must remove RAR/WinRAR files from your storage devices and cease to use the product."0 -
I can't see the point in stealing apps like WinRAR when there is freeware alternatives like 7-Zip available for use for free for ever. :rolleyes:0

I've tried 7-zip it is clunky(i'm being kind), does (did not?) unrar and join split files, slow, even with the biggest table did not compress my files as small as winrar and is not as easy to use like you can't run files from it - only extract and compress or as intuitive as winrar.
It is free though. They say it comp4esses smaller - try it your self - it did not for me and took ages too. Don't believe the ads!
Anyone tried ZipGenius?

It does, provided you use its own native file format. They say it comp4esses smaller0
