  • Right now?

I'd go back to New Zealand in a heartbeat if I could afford it. Or if I was thinking of something different, maybe hop through the Far East - Tokyo, Bali and Thailand.

I'm not really trying to help you here, just sharing what I would do, which I hope may help you.... (They are in no order.)
    a) I've never been to Africa - other than Marrakesh - so would love to do a trip to Kenya with a safari and then a beach holiday
    b) I'd love to Interrail around Europe
    c) I've been to Vietnam and would love to go back, and this time also see Thailand and Cambodia and maybe Laos (this is beginning to sound longer than three weeks!)
    d) I'd love to go to Egypt and see the pyramids
    e) I'd love to go to Argentina and the Iguzu Falls

Thank you for such an inspiring post!

Really fancy galapagos islands and Ecuador but that's a complete budget breaker!

Never liked the look of Safari but since I was watching that prog on the BBC I really wanna go now - Kenya with a beach extension week to chill.

Norway, Sweden, Finland places like that on a cruise.

Canada by rail maybe - would have to whittle it down to a particular holiday.

New England in the fall. Seen some nice cruises that take that in!

    Clipper cruise.

    Iceland.

I am forever purusing holiday sites such as Explore for things that little bit different.

You say you've paid off some debts... just in case you want my cheaper big five...

    a) Tour of Italy, with Venice, Florence, Rome - I've been already - and Lucca, Sorento, Naples and then a week maybe in Sardinia or Sicily or the heel bit.
    b) Interrailing as before.
    c) Morocco, with a chance to see the whole country. Some sea and sand and some mountains and some city.
    d) A short break to Iceland for the Northern Lights and a separate fortnight in Tunisia.
    e) The pyramids in Egypt again.
