I don't think anyone ever feels good enough - but we should!

I know what you mean about not wanting to use your redundancy money for every day living.

woohoo.....had to get the bus home tonight which meant I got the final 5p needed for full bag, thats going straight to BS in the morning!

not spending is really affecting my loose change pots.....

still no weight loss despite the swimfests we've been having, now monitoring inches lost instead

currently lunching on HM bacon & lentil soup, recipe courtesy of slimming world....tastes pretty good.....hope that will aid in some inch/lbs loss.....cheap to make too so not £s loss!!

think I've spotted the trend that breaks the grocery budget, but will test it @ weekend.....I think buying meat is the problem......may need more meat free evenings....not sure what meat-loving MrL will have to say about that!!

A good start to the month, day 6 already & have had 4NSD! & I found a penny tonight!
MrL & I have booked to go away (its our Xmas present & celebrating my redundancy anniversary!), a weekend turned into a week but the flights were a bargain - Spain here we come!
not chosen our accomodation yet, but we are busy looking for the best price & cashback if possible too please
We go in 2 weeks (wow) & will only be working 1 full week in April...could get used to that.

Thanks to a couple of vouchers from Mr S (2 x £6 off a £30 spend)its looking very promising that I'll come in under budget for the first time. EVER!!! I'll be very happy if that happens, especially as I reduced the cash figure this month as I'd got a Tesco gift card to make it up to normal amount. Gift card still tucked away in purse ready for next month.

(Yikes woman on supersize v superskinny has spent £530k on plastic surgery!!!!! hope thats money she had not loans or credit cards!!!)

List required for holiday happenings, am determined to come in under budget on that too

Laziness towards the end of the week means I bought lunch at work yesterday. even worse, it wasn't particularly nice!! so NSD ruined without the yummy in tummy factor:(
Hopefully though I'll win the work sweepstake tomorrow - someone has to!
& I think I've learnt my lesson that making lunches the night before is the way to go - managed it all through March but then got out of the pattern again
holiday is just about sorted, just need to sort Kittys stay at her luxury hotel - not one I can do through quidco though

shopping list being written at the moment, mealplan taking some thought as we are all over the place next week, I have 2 vouchers for sainsburys off a £30 shop, one for £6, the other £3 - am hoping I can use both!

Did something very stupid the other week, dropped my mobile down the toilet !!! hoped that it would dry out but no luck yet, sent it off today to hopefully be fixed. moral of story, don't put your phone in a pocket!

oh its not ALL mse ..... after overtime yesterday MrL whisked me off to the seaside!!! very lovely that was, a nice man handed me his parking ticket so that saved us £5.....found another 1p on the floor.....we also had tea & cake on the cliffs, put some 2ps into the nice oldfashioned arcade machines & came home via the chinese....om nom nom as F_F would say!

lazy morning so far, washing is out on the line, have played with Kitty for 20 minutes or so before she decided she had amused her human for long enough!

Now semi-copying some tasty recipes from a cookery book i borrowed from the library before starting the usual weekend housework panic - got my folks over for BBQ later, so at least i won't have to cook. pity I'll still have to iron though!
