Thanks all. We had a lovely da today - saw my friend in knitting shop and then went to have massage/facial and reflexology = pnly problem is that releasing all those nasty toxins has given me a migrain so its an early night and water for me!

oh I will, cant wait! I had one night camping just up the road but with that exception Ive not been away since early August last year so in much need of a break. Friend is making her shopping list and Im starting to think about what I need to take. I have the day off the day before I go which will be good as my flight leaves Gatwick at the unearthly hour of 7am!! (ish!) so will be driving at night so one time there may be no traffic on the M25!!
Meanwhile working and still not liking early mornings. My new home group starts tonight in church so am looking forward to that (made some choc brownies) as been a while and its people I know locally. Am trying to finish Fergs blanket which is endless and Im sure will be lovely when its finished.

  • Goodness me what a bad updater Ive been! Well with renewed vigour Ive done my snowball update and there just over 4000 to pay on cc's so want to have a bit of a slog at them! Really beginning to loathe credit card companies...Still need to get the hang of snowballing as seem to have a block on what you DO with it - ie do you update with all money paid each month or just over the mins?! Sorry know Im being dull.
Had a lovely week with best mate in Italy - got to see where they live, meet friends etc. Some shopping but not a horrendous ammt. Work is going well and its good to have some routine. Getting stuck in and starting to feel I have a vague idea of whats what! Quite enjoying teenagers, much to my surprise! Need to get the hang of lunches and Ill be there. May start a spending diary and go back to basics...esp with c******* coming up!
Hope you are all ok...will try &' catch up over next few weeks and apologies for being so rubbish - all just got a bit much but feel more in control now!

  • Glad to hear things going well. I was hoping that the lack of updates meant things were going so well you were super busy!

With the snowball I think you put in the mins then put the total you can pay each month at the top/start and it tells you which card to pay the extra on IE mins 200 but you can pay 300 it will say pay the 100 on card x until its cleared.

glad you had a lovely time on your holiday and that you're enjoing work so much more, that makes all the difference in the world.
i was playing with the snowball calculator yesterday and am like you not really understanding it. I wish you could have a different on for each debt, which i guess is not the point but when you're trying to chose between a mortgage and other debts it's tricky.

Hi Sea haven't seen you around much (I've not been on the boards too much lately) hope you are well.
