:rotfl::rotfl:Yeah but he will be flashing around in Vera- she is sooo posh and has even done weddings:D I can easily supervise vino and turnip lobbing- i am quite good at lobbing, it keeps Mr.B on his toes dodging them..:eek::rotfl::rotfl:

sorry have been carp but did mean to update but as bob said been v tired!
Am now back in work full time working with care leavers. ive been there about a month and at last feel like Im beginning to get the hang of it! While I was initially wondering "how on earth do I manage with teenagers?!!" I seem to have done ok so far! No doubt that will change with time and them being stroppy with me lol!
Money wise I had a loss of a few grand pay cut as am now just a social worker as opposed to a manager which I have to say is sheer bliss! Never, ever again will I do a management job! I love going to see people, being in and out and just generally feeling like I do something productive rather than having endless meetings!
Despite this I am better off as have mum living with me. She has been very poorly since March this year and we eventually decided that we will sell our respective homes and get somewhere togeather. She is on the mend but has one final op last week to remove the residual gall stones and has one final chest xray to check that the pneumonia is all gone. She is settled in Cardiff and sang at the opening singy performance of the ryder cup which was lovely and very funny as she didnt know the words but in true mum style managed to blag it!!
I had a lovely lunch for all my friends who supported me last weekend. it went really well and made me realise how blessed I am to have so many good friends...only 40 could come but there were another 20 who could have!! Arent I a lucky bunny eh!! Esp as none of them would be decribed as superficial relationships so that was nice for me to realise as you dont always know!
Im still knitting and doing crochet (usually post once a day on knit your square) and jewellry making. Im also learning the violin which Im enjoying but still at the strngled cat phase!!
Money wise its been a plod! Im off on holiday to see best mate who has just moved to naples and when I get back Ill knuckle down and start refocussing! I also want to shift ibs as ever and will start to excercise when I get back. I have put in to have my stomach stapled but its going to be a fight to get funding I think but I will fight on. For me I think its the only way Im back to a size 24 which for someone 5ft nowt is massive and my knees and back are agony...
So there ya go...a bit of backsliding but am on the way back after a pretty horrendous time but able to see the glorious silver linings...

even though you've had lower pay you sound so much more positive and with that positivity you'll be able to focus on all your other goals.
