Morning all..just a quickie update. Well my hope that all to be resolved one way or another, by end April is gone...now hoping end of May...! Matters beyond my control (as all are at the moment) and I just thank god that I have wonderful friends...where would I be without them. Am trying to focus onthe positives and dismiss the negative...
Going to see the final of young musician of year in May with mum and friend who I am learning violin with! cheapie tickets and the opportunity to go to the beautiful millenium centre-despite living less than two miles from it Ive still never been so am excited. Also making me realise how different I am from before - a treat is now a treat and exciting!!
Im going out for a drink with a friend this eve so excited about that two. Have at last learned the joy of simple food, friendship and nature. I had a lovely picnic in the park at lunch time yesterday...birds tweeting and sun shining. Lovely!

Lodgers house went through on Friday so she is there decorating etc and will move out, I suspect end next week. Will be lovely to have a bedroom again - wont know what to do with myself lol!

or beating me at scrabble pengi!!
Quiet day today and hope to get some wooly stuff done as feel a bit behind! Helping my friend get her unruly 2 year old to bed later and thats it.
Am in the process of sorting my money out so I know whats what and will use it as an opportunity to update debt/mort ammounts...Been watching the bbc drama which is good but so sad. I always feel desperately sad for people who have to resort to prostitution - for whatever reason...
Oo forgot to say that lodgers house went through last Fri and she will move the rest of her stuff out Sat so I will have the house to myself. Bliss!

hi ISOM, we're watching that program as well, but i guess i'm watching it with a 'vested interest' due to where i live and work.
Have you decided not to get another lodger? you've done really well to go without your bedroom for so long, i'm not sure i could have done that. I hope you got on better with her than your last one.
Fingers crossed that you get some more progress with the w**k stuff

well done my sums; sobering!! CC's below 8000 which is good (havent checked for a while!) but every time I look at the list it reminds me what an idiot Ive was..as an example the northern rock loan is 9.9% apr!!! You would have thought that would have done it in terms of a lightbulb (all those years ago) but no, then took out another at 8.9!!! Quite mad!

quick quid are saying they are responsible lenders. In which case why is their APR a breathtaking 2000% +?!! Why is that even legal?
