    thanks for the offer ISOM.
Saw my dad yesterday and he's better than he was last sunday. Still not back to his pre-episode level but as least he's still with us.
  • must be a worry for you LT...sure he will take time to get back to health as take time for body to heal...
Good news...a friend is going to help with allotment this week...bad news is that rain is forecast! fingers crossed.
Nce service at church this am and just bought back how much like a church family it feels...closer to some of them than members of my own family! Lunch with a friend and then a snoze before being given instruction on the next steps with my quilt which is taking longer than I anticipated...seem to have lots of half finished projects and determined to finish up before starting ANY new ones...so to do is finish a tapestry, quilt, blanket, tank top (baby) and blankets for pdsa...not much then! Mind you keeps me relatively sane...on which note tablets making no difference so have an appointment to see GP a wk tomorrow...

  • Haing a spurt of enegry so making most of it! have rung gp and asked for a call back...can go on like this and the fact that tabs not making any difference just dragging me down more as it feels hopeless iykwm! Have finished another round of quilt and am ready for the next step!! Quite satisfying!
Have been told I have a w*** meeting next week and its going to be a full 1/2 day but at least things are moving...just feels endless...
Other than that a nsd here. Face is agony with crashing headache and really hoping they sort it soon as almost a year now.
Off now to open separate bank/savings account and insure the cat via quidco of course!! Then a wee snooze me thinks!

  • well managed to get gp by phone and hes upped current meds and will see him next week and we'll review it then...had a sleep but have a crashing migraine so an early night for me to try and shift it. Been one of those days...cats eye has stopped oozing though so at least avoided a trip to vet. Quilt is almost finished too as friend came down to help me do the final cutting as I was nervous of it! Just need to hand stitch the back seam and I'm done!

Hope the increase in the meds helps.

  • Thanks beanie...feeling a bit desperate about it but GP is lovely and very reassuring which helps. Head still cracking but suspect combination of general stress and possibly hormones as well as face pain! If I was a horse...out for a couple of hrs tonight but other than that cleaning turtle and crafty bits planed...quietly! Feels a relief to have opened seperate savings account as it was niggling...

  • I am just having a passing thought- as you do..have the roots of your teeth been investigated? I know that sometimes Wisdom teeth cause these problems or even grinding of teeth.

May be worth getting a night in a sleep clinic and seeing if you do grind teeth. This can lead to neck and muscle spasms as well and then the whole cycle begins again.

Other than that i do hope you have a more restful day- good news about the cat and also about the savings account.
