Hi Isom...sorry to hear that you have to wait...still..have they said how long?
That quilt is absolutely lovely and your Mum will love that.
  • aww thanks lovely people! I am chuffed with quilt, even though it didnt quite go to plan suspect that there was an alternative plan all the time iykwim?
In terms of work its a process and needs to be done properly so I have accepted that it will take as long as it takes. Not easy but thats the way it is so I just need to accept it and let things go through. I've no idea how long it could take ...but one day "this too shall pass"....please God!
Have woken feeling coldy again but am determined that it wont stop a planned trip to a lovely town called Monmouth that just happens to have a lovely, helpful quilt shop! Will ring vet in a bit to see how madam is and when she can come home...fingers crossed its today cos I miss her!

  • Sorry didnt realise I hadnt updated! Puss is home and better than she was but stil ikky tummy...for the first time ever didnt go in the litter tray today...eugh! Suspect it may be antibiotics not helping. Shes eating though and playing so obviously feeling better in herself thank goodness....I really thought she was a gonner and tbh think it would have finished me off at the moment....bill nearly did mind you but will try and claim on insurance but suspect they will try and wriggle out...as they often do!
Feeling physically and mentally bleugh....its been a tough week and as always taken a few days to catch up as have been busy - must make a concerted effort to plan quiet time in.. Am also now on so many tablets that I think it would be wise to skip alcohol for a while as it is a depressant plus wont be good mixed with various tabs...while I get to sleep its not good sleep iykwim and that affects my ability to cope.
Thankfully friends, as always, have been lovely. Was chatting this eve to one on bens and it was sobering to say the least....I do know that I will survive...always have so may be down, battered, kicked and bruised but definately not out :)
