great news on this lodger, didn't realise the last one damaged the freezer.

We've just had to put a note through upstairs door to get them to come and see us when they get home/ or tomorrow as we yet again have water pouring in round our patio doors because of the overflowing guttering which is their responsibility, but which they won't do as they'd rather go to the pub each day. grrrr!

Thanks all...was a relief as such a small space got to be someone nice...nice morning in church with quick pop to shops for cat toys to stop madam munching my arm and also got shampoo so shes now a clean purring kitty - thankfully not too traumatic for her...
Nice day today with knitting, scrabble (on facebook) and farmville plus a snooze!!

Some good news to report - after much "discussion" with goldfish/barclaycard they have agreed to freeze interest until Feb 2010; refunded 25 for phone calls (just covered it) and have reduced interest to 6.9% from 17.9 - higher than it was before the ddm !!!! up but better than xfer to mbna so result on that one...
Also went to hospital today for long awaited appointment...its not my sinuses and is a strange unknown entity. Saw a lovely consultant who is a dog with a bone and will consult with other collegues - facial surgeon and neurologist as a start...sinuses are clear but right side of face swollen so sommat up but hes not sure whether its inexplicable nerve damage, an excess of carbon dioxide (due to snoring - air goes in but not enough breathed out) which can cause facial pain or some neurological anomoly...have ruled out unexplained facial pain as already tried that and drugs dint work; antibiotics didnt make a difference but good thing is that he is determined to get to the bottom of it which is good...meanwhile will just grit my teeth and get on as much as I can...
Tomorrow is trip to ake someone to appointment; seeing manu and Alfie cats (was missing them) and seeing one of the children...
cheapish day with only hospital parking to pay for...

yay at last sommat to report! 25 on bingo that I can withdraw (& did, sharpish!!).
Good news as bought a butterfly table for lodger so half table paid for. Nasty dentist appt with deep filling but hes overfilled so will have to go back tom as cant close teeth and subsiquently spent w/e wih pounding head and jaw ache...
Other than that the wait continues...
