Morning all,
er, ok it's actually afternoon.
Cant believe the word for 'do as you likey' (rhymes but begins with a 'p' for those who havent heard the term before) got edited out.
You probably thought I was being rude
Big hug for makeup today (( :A))
Having been dry for over a week the 2 or 3 Gordons I had last night completely wiped me out & I fell asleep on the sofa as planned
I'm coping fine with being alone & in fact, just the knowledge that " ...I'm free to what I want, any old time ..." - loving the Soup Dragons  is very liberating :j.
The fact that my place is a shockingly messy & grimy tip& that it's pouring with rain means I'm not leaving the house today
so it should be another NSD.
Have stripped the beds & the second load of washing is on, while the first dries on the radiators.
I had a delicious feast of a bacon & mushroom sarnie for brunch & now have no bread left which is a good thing as I've been sneaking back to my old habit of munching peanut butter sarnies late at night.
I weighed in this morning & havent lost any weight, but havent gained any either so that's ok, just need to be really careful & remember that treats are now a once a week thing rather than once a day & that any treat must be counteracted by a sacrifice elsewhere.
I have so much to do so will list in the next post & then report back when each task is completed ...0 -

Hmmm,
tidying my room has taken a lot longer than I thought it would. I have so much annoying bitty stuff that I want to chuck out but cant for sentimental reasons .
This means I spent ages on that & then did the Just Dance which was great fun when I got to choose all the tunes & then ran out of time to do the rest of the chores.
Tomorrow I need to do another wash, all the ironing, clean the kitchen & the bathroom, mop the floors, tidy her room _pale_ hoover in there & the living room, find somewhere to put all the recyling & charity shop stuff that's cluttering up the hall, polish school shoes AND do some food shopping
It has however, been a NSD - number 9 in fact
I received a letter from Crapital One today, saying that they had my letter about closing my account & how sorry they were
Idiots - it was you that said it had to be closed . They also asked me to destroy & return the card.
Idiots - the destroyed & expired card was in the envelope with the letter saying I was closing my account, at your request
Apparently I may well receive mail & credit card cheques for another 2 months
Idiots - do you really think I'll fall for that one
If I decide I want another CC in the future, they hope I'll think of them, awwww
Idiots - of course I'll think of them; their incompetence at dealing with the simplest of tasks, their erroneous reasons for stopping my account & most of all their disgusting, unwarranted, money grabbing decision to attempt to hike the interest on my card
Sven Lagerberg - you are an IDIOT, incompetent, clearly have no concept of 'customer service' & have a really stupid name, bye bye0 -

Oh dear, I am exhausted
Was up at 9 to complete the weekend's chores & task list, was in Waitrose by 10.30 & spent £27.07 in there & also got my free mini croissants to taste & report on. I received another £2 coin in my change so that's gone in the kitty :j Discovered that there are no hair dyes at all in there  & this being an emergency situation had to whizz up to Tatco which annoyed me somewhat but could not be avoided. Scythed my way through all the families out for a days entertainment  & was in & out so quick I even scared myself :rotfl:.
Next stop was the reycling point to offload all the stuff in the boot & then home to sort my hair out.
The carpet dumped by the P.I.K.E.Y's is still there but I'm not surprised  & if it's still there when I get back from work on monday I will be moaning again
Cleaned the bathroom, the kitchen, mopped the floors, hoovered the rugs & then took a deep breath & ventured into DDs room _pale_.
I could feel my temper starting to boil so decided on a new tactic; shove anything that is on the floor inot a bag & if she doesnt reclaim it within 2 days (wednesday is dustbin day) out it goes. I confess that I will not be throwing out the DS but it will be removed until further notice.
I gathered, socks, knickers
, grapes
, chewing gum  homework , cards, books, empty crisp packets & various other bits off the floor. I have done asking, moaning, pleading, shouting, seething, privilege removal & downright maniacal yelling. All to no avail. This is war & I will win. She wants her room decorated & I am in the second year of refusal based on the state of it. At this rate she will still be sleeping in the little pink palace when she's 18 :rotfl:.
Oh sheet, I've just realised that I have another 2 weeks until the end of the month, so £40.53 left for groceries & household items, that could be interesting .
I must now take the scraps out to the compost bin & then think about making some soup for tea. No doubt DD will be ravenous, exhausted & very very grumpy :rolleyes:0 -
Phew, I got all my chores bar the ironing done & also managed to make soup to feed the ravenous one on her return.
She was shattered & very moany - no idea where she gets that from :whistle:but had a good time :j. Wasnt overimpressed with the fire alarm going off or the loud music everywhere but gave me the most enormous hug & said she was really glad to be home.
Within 5 minutes the bathroom was under siege & her case was spilling out everywhere. I showed her the bag of stuff I'd collected from the floor & she reckons she'll be dealing with it tomorrow ... yeh
It's nice to have the place looking so clean & tidy so I feel that I've achieved a lot this weekend & am ready for the week ahead ...0 -
Morning Lula,
Sounds like you have had a fantastic weekend. Well done on the de-cluttering and tidying you have every right to feel proud of yourself.
