    Hi Lula

I agree about Fridays, one of my ideas to sort out my work pressures is to see if I can negotiate 4 long days and Fridays off. I plan to meet with my boss about it when I get back from hols :D

Still so tired & now wearing a fleecy blanket over my fleece & pyjamas :o.

Yes I am a glamour puss & if I dont lose some weight soon, I may have to convert this blanket for everyday wear .

Well, I now believe that home job boss is doing her very best to bankrupt me; yet another week of bare minimum earnings. That's every week bar one since the beginning of september . Another month of this & I would be having to reduce CC payments to the minimum . Driver hasnt mentioned anything but I know for sure that my work is being diverted again to save money. I am so relieved that I will have pay cheque from new jobby next week. I havent mentioned new work to driver or boss yet, dont intend to either until I know for sure what's going on.

DD1 has now decided that rather than repay me the final £200 she owes me, that she will cancel the insurance & it will get refunded back to my card . Hmm, not sure about that as the £50 for petrol last week was actually 'borrowed' from my car tax fund. My brain too tired to work it out.

I have just enough wages to pay into all the funds & leave me with £35 for groceries for the week. Still need to cut down more. Tonight we had spaghetti with the homemade bolognese sauce which was great, will definitley keep up with the batch cooking. Still have 2 lots of the sauce left + 1 complete shepherds pie :D

Today has been a NSD but I think I will try to do a bit of co op shopping on my way home from work tomorrow & use up the £2 off voucher ;).
We got the school photo home today so will have to find £9.50 for that when she goes back after half term. I am always so broke for this half term, it really annoys me.

Right, off to so some calculations & then bed

    night night
    xx

Lula, do you need to tell your boss and driver about your new job??? So long as doesn't interfere with their work then surely they don't need to know :confused:

anyway, well done on batch cooking. I've had a massive pile of roast parsnips and potatoes, my first parsnips of the season - yum yum yum
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Oh, was off to bed then spotted Dizzee Rascal on electric Proms so now have to watch that. Backing singers / choir are fab :D. As to telling boss, I would prefer not to at all, but there may be complications with tax, so need to be very careful that I do everything right.

hi there Lula Hula so this is where you live! Nice place....
I have seen you on other threads but have only just read your second installment.
I think you are starting to get to grips with your debt busting and also pulling your life around.

Well done on the new job. I was wondering if you went full time there ie 4 days a week, could you do your home job stuff in the evenings, or is there too much of it (not sure what your home job is exactly)?

Just thinking with a more guaranteed rate of pay at the work work job lol, you would pay those final debts off in no time...

Lula well done on your barclaycard insurance thingy and getting £55 back:j

As for work at home job - would it not pay you to jack it in and work for the other place and have Fridays off?

I like my days off mid week or even on a Monday depending on how I am feeling and whether or not I decide to meet dishy hunks at the airport and then get on the wrong train and end up in Coventry instead of Birmingham - just think if I hadn't have realised then i could have travelled to London Euston for £4.90 return:eek: (that's the cost of a return train fare from Longbridge to Birmingham International):D

Horror of horrors this morning I dragged myself out of my nice warm bed, put my dressing gown on and pottered around for a bit..then the intercom rings, its the man who has come to read my meter and the next thing he is knocking on my door asking me for the code for the cupboard in the basement - there was me in my birthday suit (admittedly it was tightly wrapped in a fleecy primarni dressing gown) and bedsocks:eek::o Thankfully the landlord's decorator said that he knew the code so took the meter man down to the cupboard - I don't think I will show my face outside for the rest of the day...oooh the shame of it being caught wearing bedsocks.:o

I've just come over to moggify the thread ... just seen your message about giving your kitty human food, chicken wings are cheaper than most pouches per kilo (told you Noah was going to be an MSE cat). Half a raw chicken wing daily will clean his teeth saving you on vets bills too. :T Some raw feeders are getting 'happy chicken' wings, carcasses and offal from local butchers for free! Someone on the Pets forum is feeding ready-made raw mixes, and spends £10 per month per cat including postage, or 33p a day the same as one cheap pouch.

I am so tired & excited that I probably wont make a bit of sense, PLEASE bear with me.

1 - I mentioned to Driver (Home Job) that work wages situation was getting ridiculously untenable ... she brushed it off, saying that we all have to just get on with it. This from the same person who last week was ready to rip the business out from under boss . Think this is her way of telling me she's now kissing boss @rse again & doing what she's told. Whatever, luv

2 - Big Cheese (Work Job) finally got around to asking me to go steady with him, well 4 days a week anyway :j:dance::j:dance: etc etc etc :D

3 - Told him that I am all his as soon as he wants me :T hoping its beginning of november

4 - If Home Job Boss permits, I could still do some Home Job Work in the evenings & that would really help to provide more funds for [STRIKE]wine, clothes, shoes, bags & chocolate [/STRIKE] debt busting ;)

5 - Had parent/teacher consultation & DD is settled into new year & achieving everything she should & - shock horror -, not talking too much :D

    6 - I have had a NSD - number 11 no less

7 - I received £3 into my paypal account in return for survey (not getting LVs anymore after that mean Glenda or Gladys or whoever at Tatco) Shame I need to have £6 in order to get a payout but hey ho.

8 - I have wine & it's not too bad & it was a freebie from DD1 for doing her washing.

chevalier - thanks for your encouraging words, have pm d' you too.

Horace - I bet the meter man was very appreciative ;)

Fire Fox - thanks for the moggy tips - really should go make frineds with the local butcher ... not my fave shop, was a veggie for along time & the smell really turns my stomach :o

Hmmmm, might have to go watch Question Time now. Do remember coming across a BNP  supporters house when doing the prawn/leaflet deliveries earlier in the year ... made sure I stuffed loads through that letter box.
