  • One part of me is thinking, he's greek and it's just no big deal, but then the texting etc. is a bit over the mark, especially as it's casual texting.
    Hmm what a pickle, i would prob ignore for a while and hope he gets the message, then go from there.
    Oh and yes i would definitley change the locks for peace of mind.

    Right the landlord has just rang me, i didnt answer the call and let it go to voicemail.
    I had mentioned to him previously about advertising one of his houses on gumtree because he had been having trouble renting one of his houses out.

    In the voicemail he is asking for the website address which is no big deal but he then mentioned the text that he sent yesterday.

    He stated that he sent me a text yesterday afternoon but he thinks he may have spelt knackered wrong (which he did but it was just the k missing off the beginning of it) he then said that he wasnt sure as he deletes all his messages after he has sent them but anyway he thought he would let me know that he had spelt it wrong.
    :confused::confused::confused::confused:

    A tad confused why he would have mentioned it tbh! :o

    I will text him the website address for gumtree i think, he said he would call me back later so if i do that i guess he doesnt need to ring back later :confused:

    By texting him back you are encouraging the texting which is friendly not professional behaviour. Can you e-mail instead?

    Yeah I agree with Fire Fox here, texting him back is still far to casual either email him or simply ignore it. It needs to go back to professional and thats not gonna be easy when you are texting etc as it is very casual and matey. Like previosuly mentioned make sure all repair requests are in writing.
  • I dont have an email address for him, so that is out of the question.

    hotchop i never actually asked for his help he has always offered in such a way as 'oh do you want me to move x while im here to get it out your way' kind of thing. :confused:
