You found me - that was quick!:cool: :rotfl:
And as for the diary...it's fairly repetative. Read three pages, skip thirty, repeat, and you won't be far off the mark! :rotfl:
Anyway, nice of you to drop by. I'll make sure to have tea and biscuits available for your next visit. *Adds to shopping list*Please call me 'Pickle'

Oh, where to start...
First up, the botox story:
I went to a beauty salon yesterday (nail-related) and there was a doctor there, giving botox injections. I was literally gobsmacked at how many women were going for them (they're not cheap, y'know), but what shocked me most was the fact that the majority of the women going for them were not old or even middle-aged, they were young - in most cases, younger than me! :eek:
What else? Be right back...ickle bruva I wants to use laptop urgently. Won't be long. :cool:Please call me 'Pickle'

Ok, so what next?
Mum was doing a workshop at the house today and consequently told us to vamoosh. I did, going to the cinema via a meeting on the way at work. (Work's going to be a living nightmare for the near future.) I haven't been to the cinema for a while, so I was gobsmacked when a ticket was £8.25 (all day Sat/Sun rate when before if you went before 12 it was cheaper), plus £2.something for 3D glasses. :eek: Unbelievable! I also ended up buying lunch out (Boots meal deal so not so bad), and a CD, which was only £8, but still a bit naughty, but I can't remember the last time I bought myself something, so I'm not going to berate myself too much. I won't be buying anything unneccesary for quite a while, though, believe me! (And if I had been up early enough I could have packed a kit and gone to the gym, but oh no, not Pickle!
)
Oh, and the biggie...my major plan in debt-busting has been to get myself a 0% CC ASAP, but with my current income, I'm under no illusions that nobody would touch me with a barge pole, and the situation doesn't look like it's going to get better in the near future. The interest has been crippling, and means that I'm not going to get to pay it off any time this decade. Mum has offered to give me the money for my CC on many occasions, but I have always refused, wishing to remain as independant as possible. However, I have now come to the conclusion that there is no point in throwing good money after the bad and I had a talk with her in which I said that I would take the money to pay off my CC from her on the condition that I paid her back with a greater amount of interest than she could get the regular bank account she would otherwise have the money in. This way, it's a win-win situation, not me taking a handout: mum gets more interest than she would from a regular bank, and I get to pay the money back at a much lower rate than I normally would, and I also get the nice feeling that the money is going to my mum, rather than a bank. (And thanks to Edinburgher, cos him telling me about Zupa was what gave me the idea.) Therefore, as a result, I will not so much be paying 'off' as paying 'back' from hereon in, and I got mum to agree for me to be looking at better banking circumstances for her (which she hasn't really had the inclination to do in the past while given that we've had a load of mither from every conceivable direction), so hopefully it will prove good for everyone overall. I'm in the middle of setting up a high-interest savings account online (just waiting to get all the paperwork sorted) for me to put the money into, and the rest will happen in due course. (I'm going to put all Quicdo/Ebay money in there until it's paid back). Mum's proved to be a gem, so thanks mum! :A :TPlease call me 'Pickle'
