I was awake most of the night as well but stayed in bed trying to get to sleep but it didn't work.

Yup, I know that feeling! Although, of course, I think it is for different reasons for both of us. x

Have spent a silly amount of money on lunches etc. this past two days which MUST STOP!

On the up side, I got my P60 today, which means I can stalk the tax rebate I am owed. Woo hoo!

Off to bed now (might try to finish 'La Dame aux Camelias' en route) as I need my sleep and have to Ebay tomorrow.

Sleep tight, one and all! ;)

OK, so Ebayness hasn't (yet) gone exactly to plan, but just checked my A&L account to find they had deposited my £100 for moving. Get in! :D Naturally, it has been transfered straight to my CC so my balance is now £1908.22. :) That's £139.33 in a strapped for cash month. Now all I need is my P60 rebate (£284.80), a few pounds owing from Quidco, and Ebay cash, then things the numbers should start to roll down nicely. :D

P.S. Have just realised that with that last payment it has brought my CC total down to just under what it was to start with, which effectively means that I have truly just paid off my OD. (While paying it off I had to effectively shift a lot of the debt onto the CC due to thinking I would be short for paying of the OD if the bank realised what I was doing and called back in the OD.) :j

:j You can come again, Ed - thanks! *Opens ramekin and sniffs appreciatively*

Have just been out buying a few necessary bits and pieces: petrol , availing myself of the 3 for £10 offer on heat barriers for hair in Asda (going to run out soon), some face cream (same), and some night cream and some hand cream as they don't have much left, either. I got those from Aldi as needs must, and I tried the Lacuna night cream before, and it's pretty good, so I've decided to give the day cream a go as well. Turns out they have camera cases on special offer for £7.99, so I got one as well as I don't have one for my digital camera, which is pretty large, and my bag for my SLR cost me between £20 - £30 if I remember correctly. Bargain, even though I shouldn''t have really, but less than the repair bill for dropping the camera, which I did once, and was forced to pay a very ouchy sum of money to get sorted (I knocked it off my deck just before coming out: the batteries exploded everywhere, but there was no other perceivable damage done. On second thoughts, maybe I should feel less guilty about that purchase than I do!)

Right, have been made to walk the dog, so I had better get on with it, then Ebayness.

    Hi guys,

I've had a very interesting weekend which means that I'm skidaddling off to sort out some stuff for the rest of the week. Nothing's wrong, or anything, but it means that I will be going to what must officially count as The Middle of Nowhere, and that interweb access will be non-existant, so you won't see much of Pickle until at least Monday.

As a result of said weekend, I only had the chance to put 1 thing up on Ebay. All things considered, it's just as well as I wouldn't be around to answer any questions about them, but what a waste of a free listings weekend!

See you all soon. Have fun in the meantime and keep the thread warm. ;) x
