I need some praise from you all for resisting a pair of FitFlops from work, a beautiful new bag which has just come in and which has me drooling muchly, and lots of CDs from HMV in their rather excellent 2 for £10, where, quite frankly, I very nearly lost my head as it was spinning round so much at all the excellent offers. It was the thought of having to 'fess up to you guys which stopped me from buying it, as well as the thought that I only have £66 and a few spare pennies after expenses to last me all month! :eek:Please call me 'Pickle'

Pooh, pooh, pants and more pooh: another transaction I forgot about has just put my CC up to £2047.55! Admittedly, some of that money will be paid back to me by the people on whose behalf I bought one or two bits as they couldn't get to where I was going, but why do I get a feeling that losing track of things this past week or so has not been a good move?!Please call me 'Pickle'

Do you know what I can't wait for April to end so that I can start again with a new slate this has been a really bad money month for me as well, I think after three months on the trot of us both being really good we deserved little blip we will just have to clamber back onto the wagon next month. I think I have gone over on ever single budget (except the budget for debt repayments). I just keep thinking at least I am still better off now than at the beginning of the year. Next months resolution is to gain back some control, we can do it pickle (and by the way hi-5 for resisting the shiny new things:T).

Thanks Emmie. I think that's the best way to look at it. I need to sit down and have another thorough spring clean of my finances (tonight will be my first opportunity), to sort out a few things, then it's a fresh clean slate for Pickle!
Well done on keeping to your debt repayments btw. :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

:rotfl:*Pickle writes 'DIFFERENT CORNER'S NEW PLAN' in big, white chalk letters and then underlines it on a fresh, clean slate and hands it to DC*
