i'm with you on getting rid of things as you go along. I did the same with my overdraft when i cleared it, and the money i had borrowed frm the savings accounts that i had for my nephews and nieces, even though the latter was on 0% and the snowball said to leave them for last.0

Ah ha! Another one aiming for World Domination eventually!
That could be an issue... world domination doesn't lend itself to sharing.

Well, at least that's dinner. Posh dinner, admittedly, but you can still justify it in your food budget if you and GF live on porridge and salt for the rest of the week!

You are soooo right about it being better for my mental health. I probably should have done this earlier. It was OK while I was really hacking down on the CC before Christmas, but with the added expenditure of the nail course since then, and having to spend both out of my account and on my CC in the interim, it hasn't half caused a mess in my head with regard to how I was planning to have it all pan out.
Less that 2 weeks to pay day!

I wouldn't go that far, but I will feel relief as least.
I think it's the thing of having passed a mental hurdle. I bet I will feel much more motivated to SLAY the CC (:T) once the OD has gone as I will feel as though I am on the final hurdle even if it is the bigger of the two debts. Please call me 'Pickle'

Have just finished reading the infamous 'Twighlight' by Stephanie Meyer. I had to see what the fuss was all about as these fainting teenagers are getting under my feet near the cinema. The answer? Not a lot at all: I wasn't all that impressed. I won't be rushing to read the sequel. The Potters will still be being read 50 years from now at a guess, but I doubt that these will outlast the author. Please call me 'Pickle'

My GF read them as her best friend insisted that she read them. Call me a snob, but the moment someone who isn't a big reader insists you read something, it's almost invariably crap
I did get a giggle from her reading out paragraphs in bed - why is everyone's eyes always burning in the series? Conjunctivitis? :rotfl:0 -

Quite. So shift over, Lee, cos otherwise things will get nasty - I'll have to splash vinegar in your eyes in order to win!

Spent far too much on lunch again today. IDIOT Pickle! Also, have learned that the nail course which runs on after this one is likely to be more expensive than I thought.
Emailed my application form for the job yesterday, so I hope that I hear back from them - it's the only thing keeping me sane as I'm working straight through until Thursday.
