Have just been paid. Thought it wasn't until Friday so that makes a nice, early surprise! :D

Oh, forgot to mention, when I joined BingoBritain I thought it would be clever to use my CC for added protection (giving you bank account details to new websites isn't always clever) and I then found out that many CCs count it as a cash advance and charge you the higher interest rate accordingly! To the best of my knowledge I don't ever remember having received written T&Cs with it as they just gave it me with my student account (and I've checked as I keep all my paperwork - I think!), and I also took a look at the website which doesn't say that they do but they have. Double gah! I wouldn't mind but I could have so easily paid on my DC. It was only £5 so it was only 1p interest, but it was a good lesson learnt.

Right, so have paid the toothpaste/mouthwash off the CC straight away. Need to do some calculations to figure out what to do with the rest. But at least it's now mine, all mine! Mwahahaha!

Haven't had much time for MSE-related activities today (well, technically yesterday now) as I drove to see a friend who has recently had some babies and it took forever to get there and back. Was driving in bad conditions so overall a tiring day (but nice to see friend and her babies!).

Have been gining serious thought to this month's budget. Will post when have done the maths.

    What's that - secret drinker? ;)

Are your wages so irregular that you need to budget on a month by month basis? Have you ever considered creating a fixed budget based on your lowest typical monthly wage and then treating anything extra earned as a bonus? It might take a few months to adapt to but it might provide a bit more focus for long term planning... Just a thought, feel free to tip custard over me if it's rubbish!

As for wages, the problem is it's very hard to know what I'm going to get paid dued to the stupidly complex way that it's worked out. so there's always an element of surprise to what I get. Also, a lot of the hours I work are on the whim of the manager who is currently trying to cut back on the instructions of head office, so to be honest, I need to look for something more definite where I know at least what is definitely coming in every month. T'would make life a lot easier, and hopefully better paid.

I've just come back from the funeral of a young man who was, quite frankly, far too young to die. It has made me think even more that I need to be getting on with what I need to get on with in life instead of biding time where I currently am.

    Ciao 4 now and c ya l8r! ;)

*EDIT* There was a sentence before what is visible of the above post saying 'No, that's Tired Typist's Finger, a condition which strikes after a long day, most of which has been spent behind the wheel.'*/EDIT*
