Had a busy few days and am cream crackered.
Yesterday, was at a day long massage course at college, which was excellent, but on top of everything else left me shattered.
Was back in work for a piffling 4 hours today () and am now back. Tonight I need to:- List things on Ebay
- Tidy room
- Practice music
Should keep me out of trouble...;)
Oh, and today has been a NSD. Thank God for small mercies! :TPlease call me 'Pickle'

Pants - it wasn't! Picked up a set of 4 ramekins for £2.50 on my way home, in order to make creme brulee.
BTW, are any of you aware of how hard it it to find a set of 4 plain white ramekins nowadays for less than Le Creuset prices?! Difficult enough to make you go !Please call me 'Pickle'

Oh, and just to have a little grumble, I've tried to relist some No7 bits and pieces on Ebay with it being a free listings weekend, and they won't let me, saying that I'm only allowed to list so many within a 30 day period. I wouldn't mind, but there were 4 pieces, I listed them once before, and one of the four earlier this week (it's got a bid - woo hoo! :j), so I can't see how that would qualify as 'over listing' in 30 days, would you?!
Grr! :mad:Please call me 'Pickle'

OK, so today has at least been a NSD. Finally!
Have changed the covers on my bed and done some work for my work experience placement today. I'm quite proud I got assigment no1 out of the way. I just need to get onto assigment no2 a bit more, and think up some new ones as well.
Need to get food and get down to the library. And get on the phone. And practice music. All in that order.
Also, to sarong or not to sarong? Which is right, which is swrong? (Oh I am *SO* funny!)Please call me 'Pickle'

Blimey Pickle, if I knew you needed ramekins, I'd have let you know that I probably have some in my charity shop stash
. Do you ever shop at Dunelm Mill, they have some real bargains (I know it is sad but since you mentioned ramekins and blowtorches I have been seeing them everywhere!)
If you need new clothy things (apart from knickers), I can let you know where my fave charity shop is (it is on a train line from Piccadilly). We have jeans for a couple of quid and I got a vintage brocade Audrey Hepburn'esk coat (OK, ignore the reall fur collar) for £10. For knickers, I find the Next on-line sale (lace for £2) or Sainsbugs (5 for £6) the best value.
Should you wish to trade massage for reflexing any time, just let me know
(and Dedicated ... next time we meet up I shall insist you reveal your wobbly bits and ultra heavy bones!!!)

*Shakes fist* NOW you tell me, NorthernLas! :rotfl: Do you know how long I have hunted for some reasonably prices ones?
And yes, I do shop at Dunelm for bit 'n' pieces, but they didn't have what I was looking for when I went last.NorthernLas wrote: »Do you ever shop at Dunelm Mill, they have some real bargains (I know it is sad but since you mentioned ramekins and blowtorches I have been seeing them everywhere!)
Speaking of blowtorches, I have seen the one I bought around quite a bit, and it costs £24.99 most places. Got a bargain there, methinks! :TNorthernLas wrote: »If you need new clothy things (apart from knickers), I can let you know where my fave charity shop is (it is on a train line from Piccadilly). Oooh, spill the beans, NL!NorthernLas wrote: »Should you wish to trade massage for reflexing any time, just let me know
I think that could be arranged!I'm busy for the next two weeks, but we can see what we do afterwards.

Enjoy http://www.blythehouse.info/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=9&Itemid=14 - the clothes shop is opposite this shop which mainly sells furniture, small electricals and bric a brac (i.e. ramekins) and if you do have a trip out call at Footsteps 'cos it does lovely tea and coffee and sells second hand books (it was a shoe shop and the books stand on the 1864 shoe shelves) ... bit of a busmans holingday???
Oh and if you arrange your trip for Saturday 19th March in the morning, I will be your friendly shop assistant and we could go and have lunch afterwards!!!!!0 -

Right, just in middle of posting an Ebay item I sold for not very many pennies, but hey ho, it's gone now, is a few pennies, and has given me back a bit more space.
Am off to Leeds for t'afternoon for a meeting and to have dinner with a friend. This should be fun.
Bought a book during the week from The Works cos I am a naughty Pickle, so I am tempted to return it to the Leeds branch this afternoon. (I won't mention about the Ministry of Food book I bought on Ebay!)
I cracked late last night and bought a bar of chocolate, so it wasn't a NSD after all!
I am seriously rethinking my attitude to life and money at the minute. I feel a new diary coming on...Please call me 'Pickle'
