  • Sounds about right for unsocial services, same lack of help if there is a family member willing to give up their life to be a carer. You get screwed over with threats of your moral obligations and no help.

Just to say, I know an amazing person who is high up in social services, who had no idea about the government plans until I told her. She was horrified, as she said that one of the good schemes put in place was to allow people to decide for themselves what to spend their DLA and AA on. She thinks it would be a disaster for the social services to have to take back handling all this. Just so we don't paint all social service workers the same way. Many really are on our side!
  • We all need to get onto this.

Can you imagine having to go to your local authority to get their version of DLA or AA monies.

Sign the petition and let plenty of people know.
