Woo for lunchtime!
I just bought some cookie cutters and a rolling pin so I can make some home-made Christmas decorations this weekend. I will post pictures if they are any good. I saw a recipe on Weezl's mortgage free diary for salt dough and I'm going to give it a try!
Other spends today are the usual bread and milk and some Rice Krispies (Morrisons knock-off) to make chocolate crispies with tonight or tomorrow. Mr Fresian got a load of my mum's home baking recently and I think it's spoiled him!

I'm still planning on playing with salt dough to make decorations, but here's what I did tonight...
Om nom nom!
Also, please note kick-!ss moo-print toastie maker courtesty of Mama Fresian. Conversation prior to their visit went thusly:
Mum - "Do you want a toastie maker?"
FF - "Nah, I've got one I don't use already."
Mum - "It's cow-print."
FF - "That will do nicely"
I'm so predictable....0 -
Nom nom nom indeed :T
And I did admire the cow toastie - thought it seemed very apt:rotfl:

Had adventures in making salt dough decorations tonight...
Before:
After (Hopefully you can see festive kitchen roll too!)
They appear to have puffed up with air slightly, which I didn't think looked right. I have slathered some of them with food colouring and popped back in the oven. I am planning on adding some silver and gold glitter and hanging them from the tree with silvery ribbons. They look naff and cheap and home-made, but I love them :smileyhea
