Bummer on the laptop.
Congrats on Mr F's Tax Rebate.

Thats just torturous (if thats even a word!) I just got my new external hard drive.... so now have to get the old pc out the loft so I can back up all the music and pics before giving it to one of the cleaners at work.... then back up all the stuff on the lappy.... a bit scary as I've never done it before!:o
Hope the shiny purple gorgeousness comes soon.... can you put a pic up when it comes

It was soooo nearly a NSD today!
Myself and Mr Fresian went to town to buy him things to wear for the wedding on Friday (Which he's paying for with his rebate, woo!) It was hot and I left all the juice in the house so two bottles of juice later - £2.37 spent  As the NSD was b*ggered I nipped into Boots with my half price Ruby and Millie lippy voucher from the ACM and my £5 off No7/R&M voucher and got an £11 lipstick for 50p :j The sales assistant was very impressed. I nearly bought new straighteners as they were half price due to a damaged box, but I really didn't need them.
So, total spend out of my budget is now £198.44, leaving me with £2801.56 remaining. It's only 121 days until 1st January :rotfl:0 -
Ms Freesian (pls can I call you that? I think it has such a great ring!
)
I love the pic of Ernie - all proper cats live in paper bags
Really pleased about the rebate :T but try for not too many "I told you so's"
Oh & avoid epilators like the plague - nasty, nasty little things!@ LBM = £15,872.65, now £10,819.82AF Jan = 7/? Feb = 5/14 Mar = 14/20 Apr = 6/14 May = 2/14 June 2/14 July 0/TF Aug 1/TFv Sept 6/TF Oct 4/7"NEVER DOUBT YOUR OWN QUALITY"0 -

Silly people, do they not read MSE, do they not know they are throwing money away sending the mouse separately?! Did they not know how excited you would get? Do they not know a B***** mouse is no use without the shiny new laptop to go with it!
Nice one re the rebate. I think Mr F owes Ms F a treat for that one!A nice meal out maybe?!

You can call me Ms Fresian if you wantMost people on here call me f_f (I think my names too long!)
Ernie loves paper bags. And boxes. They both love boxes. Our living room is like the cardboard version of the crystal maze :rotfl:
I'm leaving the idea of an epilator on the shelf. I rarely shave my legs (Fine hair and laziness!) and Mr Fresian is fine with this as long as my underarms don't get (in his words) "too French". :rotfl: This arrangement has worked fine for many years!

I know!! I was soooo excited!! Still, maybe it will come tomorrow before we leave for the wedding. I might have time to upload a little picture if it does
Don't think we will have a meal out tbh - I am owed half of his money and the other £300 has to last him a looooong time. He spent £70 today on clothes for the weddingIt goes so fast! We might get a takeaway next week as it's our anniversary. Nine years has gone quite quickly really :kisses2:

Nice one about the rebate! There is something to be said for nagging haha!
I did the same thing with the ruby and millie lippy, had to buy some other bits at the same time so ended up with another voucher and used that on an R&M eyeliner which I wanted anyway, as well as something I'd forgotten, which got me yet another voucher which I got a No7 eyeshadow for 2 quid and thought I'd better stop there...
Hope your new lappie arrives tomorrow! Bet you can't wait!

Cash Money
PAD - £29
Spends - £98.63  Ebay money still to arrive. Unlikely to be able to put all of this into PAD/laptop at the moment
Entertainment - £38.15
Groceries - £134.43 (Hopeful as the freezer is jammed)
I'm off to my friend's wedding today - the ceremony is tomorrow so hopefully it stops *rsing it down raining by then...
*note for moo2moo* I'm going to be spending money at this wedding, but I have been saving up for this and I'm not including it in the budget for our challenge. If I spend 1p over the £100 budget though I promise I will come and confess when I return!
I had the worst night's sleep in a long time last night. I have had a fairly annoying cold, but as a former smoker (and teenaged asthmatic) I tend to get coughs which are chesty in nature and could rattle windowpanes. I was coughing until about 3am when I fell asleep with exhaustion. I woke up at 5am when Mr Fresian's cough took over. I've been dozing on and off since then and admitted defeat at 6.30. Grr.
Things to Do
We leave at 12.30pm. I called last night and the hotel is keeping us in the same rooms despite us doing separate bookings to keep it as cheap as possible
This morning I have to:
- [strike]Post final Ebay package and curse people who think it's ok to wait 4 sodding days to pay for a 99p item[/strike]
- [strike]Pick up bridesmaids dress from the alterations lady and pray to All The Gods it fits as it's too late now if not....[/strike] She gave me a heart attack by saying it wasn't ready, but it's all done now!
- [STRIKE]Call doctors and get Mr Fresian an appointment for this morning as he's nearly out of brain pills[/STRIKE]
- [strike]Get Mr Fresian out of bed[/strike] (No mean feat given that he slept through the building work outside - they were using a jackhammer on the side of the house and he slept like a baby)
- [strike]Pack all stuff[/strike]
- [strike]Check list twice, Santa Claus style[/strike]
