I've got an epilator but I hardly ever use it, it was the pain but don't you find it takes soooo long?? It took me nearly half an hour to do half a leg!
I wish I got on with it though because it would be so much cheaper... bloody razor blades are extortionate!

Hiya,
I posted on the health & beauty boards because I couldn't do it either! :rotfl:
The lovely ladies over there say that it can take a while to get all the hairs so what they suggested it that you do it everyday to catch all the little hairs that you miss when you 1st do it or wait about 6weeks for a good proper growth and then do it
Exfoilating everyday is a must (apparently)!

Aah maybe I ought to give it another go then... I'm just too impatient and even though it only leaves the little fine hairs that you can't really see, I still feel hairy if you know what I mean??
LOL sorry FF for taking over your diary with talk of my hairy legs - will shut up now haha.
By the way your cats are gorgeous... I still want one but can;t in the flat, I satisfy my cravings by going to the RSPCA every week or so, they had the most beautiful old lady cat there the other day I felt so sorry for her because her owner had died and she was all bewildered as to why she was suddenly away from home, I could have cried. They had put her next door to a litter of stray kittens and the guy who worked there said that they were putting her in with the kittens for a while every day and it was helping because she was mothering them. Bless!

Yay! Welcome back
Hi F-F
You are sooooooo organised - you scare me
It's all a cunning ruse, I'm not organised in the slightest - it must just sound better online than it actually is in the flesh :rotfl:
To give you an example, my fellow budgeteer moo2moo has pointed out that there are four months not three between now and our deadline of September 1st. All my budgeteering has been on the basis of three. This is now the toughest challenge ever for me
Spends today come under Other Sh*te as the cost of having my bridesmaids dress altered came out of the account today. £35  Spreadsheet duly updated. If I don't spend anything else today though I'm counting it as a NSD as technically I spent the money on Monday when it was still August, it just didn't debit until today. I'm going to struggle to hit 15 NSDs
£18 paid into my account today - the last of the money from the sale of my shares. This is now safely in my PAD account.
Funny story:
Me to Mr Fresian: Call the Tax Office, you barely worked last year, I think you're due a rebate.
Mr F: Yeah, I will
Me: No, seriously, call them. It's free money.
Mr F: Yeah, I will
*cut to last Monday*
Me: For the love of f*cking God, phone them. It will take five sodding minutes.
(Mr Fresian has the dual challenges of clinical depression and natural laziness. They conspire against him)
Mr F: Hello, tax office? My girlfriend is making me call you.
*hangs up*
Mr F: I think I'm getting a refund. It'll take 6 weeks.
Me: WOO, MONEY!!
*cut to yesterday*
I arrive home to a letter for Mr Fresian from the tax office. I know it's them as I have had tax rebate in the past and recognise the fontHe comes home and opens the letter and he's getting £620!!!
Me: Told you that you were entitled to a rebate :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Victory is mine!!
This is really good as he started college again yesterday and it will keep him going until the student loan comes through. I'm very happy as I'm getting £300 of itThe moral of the story if you're a chap is: If your girlfriend is addicated to MSE there's every chance she's right about you being owed money! :A

I'm very lucky with Mr F to be honest, he's not someone who needs the latest fashions or gadgets and he's very supporting with my Adventures In Cheap Cookery. He just takes aaaages to do things that I need him to that I can't help with (Calling tax folk, registering for online banking etc.) Once he does these things he's fine0 -

Yeah I know what you mean! It's definitely a time consuming process and they lovely ladies also said that it's best to use your epilator on dry skin that's free of moisturiser or sweat!Started PADdin' 13/04/09 paid £7486.66 - CC free 02/11/10
