Money!
Spends = £27.77 :eek:
PAD = £28
Entertainment = £17.13
Groceries = £86.02
Purse = £3.86 which is my budgeted amount for the Weekly Spend Challenge :rotfl:
18 days until payday...
I am going to have to go to the supermarket this week for catfood as we have two weeks worth left and over two weeks until payday (Boo!) I'm thinking about moving them on to dry food only but Mr Fresian seems to think this isn't fair on the kittehs. To be fair, I think that if they're fed they're happy. Any cat experts willing to testify what the best method of feeding them is?
The only good thing about enforced poverty is that it's been good for my £3,000 Until Xmas Challenge. I have done sod all about my spreadsheets recently though but will provide a September update soon.
I wish I had signed up for October NSD challenge as I haven't spent an unbudgeted penny so far and am going for a NSW this weekSpends have come from the grocery budget or from the entertainment one, and I only spent £6 on Friday night (I did get bought two drinks which contributed to the level of tipsy...)
Need to get ready for work now, might end up spending something as I don't know if we have anything in the fridge which could reasonably be considered to be lunch

Festive thoughts
I'm not going to use the C word just yet as it's still October but you all know what I'm talking about...:snow_laug
I had my LBM in November of last year, and spent a lot of my own Christmas money buying things in the sales which I can use for gifts :A My mum took it all home to the North with her as I had very little room for it here, and I am going to go over her list later today (She had to email me as I had no idea what I had bought!!)
I need ideas for the following: KIDS!! I have a nephew who has just turned two, my friend from schools kids (3 x boys. Twins who are five and a three year old) and a good friend has a two year old daughter and has just had another daughter a week ago. Babies are easy - clothes! What are good presents to buy for wee kids without breaking (my) bank?
Mr Fresian wants the new Left4Dead game which is released in November. My brother is buying that (You get discounts if you buy four of them, so a group of them who play online are clubbing together) and I need to pay him at the end of this month when I get paid.

You can often find good kids gifts in the supermarket.
I bought my nephew a big sticker book as part of his birthday pressie for a couple of pounds. He loves it more than some of the more expensive pressies!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Books are the best present in the world for kids. Buy them from either The Book People (via Quidco) or Bananas http://www.bananas.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/catalog_10602_40154_100
As for what to get thats easy:
2 + 3 year olds - anything by Julia Donaldson This set of 10 books for £8 is fab. Split the set they'll all love them. Back covers all say £4.99 each.

The 5 year olds will be capable of reading simplistic books alone. These are hardbacks and they're lovely. Save some for birthdays though otherwise you'll appear really extravagent.

Postage is free over £25 too so you can save some for birthdays or buy adult books. The biggest problem is not buying them all!Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

having a 5-year old boy I would definitely support the idea of books and/or sticker books.
Not sure which supermarkets you have near by? Sainsburys do some really nice little craft kits for just a couple of quid - their colouring books are also really nice!On a mission to banish our credit card debts
