I just put the heating on.
Until Mr Fresian realised it was on, mocked me, and told me to put a jumper on. It's off again now
I'm putting fluffy slippers on my "to buy" list. If I see any at the supermarket they're coming out of the grocery budget.
On the plus side, as dinner is cooking (Stuffed belly of pork, 99p whoopsie!) the house will heat up :rotfl: I can't remember where I saw this, but someone said that candles helped the house feel warm. I'm off to go and try this!0 -

Failing that pound shops often have those fluffy socks, or primark for about a £1 or £2.Happy sock hunting

The candles thing definitely works - never sure whether its the minscule amount of heat they actually produce or whether it's the psychological effect of 'fire' :rotfl:
It's really warm in our flat - 19 degrees according to my little clock thing with a thermometer on it. I've just made a gorgeous (and cheap) bean stew so thats heated things up a bit too much to the delight of the b/f!
Well done on your comping - I've been trying to enter all the ones of interest that I can find each day. I did do it a while ago, for ages I was doing it but never won a thing:rolleyes: so I'm trying again with renewed enthusiasm (untill I still don't win anything lol) Do you just use this site or others as well? I find Loquax quite good.
xxThs signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it...0 -
I just use this site to be honest as I don't want to disqualify myself from anything by entering twice!
Candles now on, oven still going good guns. Just trying not to set the sleeves of my cardi alight on either :rotfl:0
