I too vote for Emily. This is the first thread I look at when I log on. An inspiring person whom remains so positive and motivated in the face of such problems to cope with. She deserves the award, to help her get that little bit closer to being debt free.

Haven't seen any of the Emily posting and I am sure she is a very worthy contender, but for me personally, this has been a very good spot and saved me a considerable amount.

for the promotional items for quick reads on the freebie thread

telling us about emailing asking for the vouchers and the amount of items sent - mugs, pencils, pens, posters, vouchers the list is endless

Not only is it great money saving (the £1.00 vouchers ) but when my parcel arrived my kids were over joyed. Pens, pencils, erasers and mugs.

The items received encouraged my kids to ask what it was all about - and took them shopping for books (reduced price due to use of vouchers ) so its saved me money and helped the kids to get their noses into books instead of computer games.

They took the pencils etc to school and gave them to friends along with some book vouchers so win win all round - great community post

    Thanks alot
Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T

Here is my vote for Emily too. She made me look at myself and give myself a slap for wallowing in self pity.

She has also motivated me to carry on with the debt clearing.

Thanks all MSE'ers for your inspiration. You have saved my life.
