Here are my packing instructions....

The cheeky so-and-so! Have you already quoted a postage price? The only reason I can think of for her packing instuctions would be to keep the parcel as light as possible to save on postage costs, so if you haven't yet given her an exact postage price, she'll be trying to economise. If you follow her instructions, you'll need a really sturdy box and lots of bubble wrap. An appropriately sized box would, in this case, be quite a lot bigger than the item, to make sure you could use enough bubble wrap to keep the contents safe.0

Yes, the postage price was quoted in the lsiting with the comment about insurance up to £32 being included.
Reading between the lines it looks like she's had items in the post that have arrived broken and had compensation claims refused so she has made a list of every packing material that the broken stuff came in so now has a blacklist of 'banned' packing materials because these have been at fault before - I think that it was not the materials at fault but the amount used that's caused her problems in the past0 -
Strange. I would always double box fragile valuables (as well as using bubble wrap, not instead).0

Perhaps she has problems unwrapping...perhaps she has a disability..perhaps she has an allergy.. who knows! It is a bit strange to receive such explicit instructions but she was not rude..I would just do as she asks.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

lol this thread reminded me of a buyer who emailed me to state that she must recieve the item on a Thursday between three and four and I must not send it wrapped in birthday paper!

She might have had a bad experience with customs officials unwrapping an imported parcel and making a mess of it before. Maybe her instructions are so that if Customs open it, they can easily repack it properly.0
