Good LUck she seems like a right one. Do you often send china abroard? I have a lot of my Grandma's china in the loft so when I get around to it I will have to pick your brains as to how to pack. You are lucky to reach 4000+ with no neg. My neg was from someone who I fully refunded - I sort of thought that my loopy customer came around one in a thousand!

I do have 2 negs (retaliatory silly ones also from stupid Americans) the bonus is when you get to 2000+ the first neg doesn't affect the score any more and the second one went a few weeks ago when I hit 4000+

I send lots of china everywhere and my tip is pack so well with large bubble bubblewrap and sturdy boxes you feel as if it will be safe if you drop it on a stone floor - then it's going to be OK

I think you're right to get it signed for. She sounds a bit dodgy, I've only got 200 feedback (100%) and I thought I was lucky - just recently had my first bad one! No neg as yet - but I'm waiting!

Maybe she thinks you charge extra for packaging?

What has she purchased before? I would be tempted to smash the stuff before I sent it and wrapped exactly to her requirements!! hehe but that would be pointless and immature! :p

Souns a bit contradictory to me too as she wants the parcel all safe and wrapped but won't ensure insurance?!?!?!

perhaps .........(After 4000 feedbacks you certainly don't need any advice.) but you could put somewhere in your listing if the auction reaches a certain amount I will send via........ "Super fast signed for stuff" for security non negotiable!

I thouight that I had this all tight as a drum in my listings - I state -
Postage insurance to the value of £32.00 is included in the figures quoted, further insurance can be arranged.

Even if the RM won't pay out for standard parcels or overseas deliveries £32 is an amount that I'm happy to cough up myself as 'self insurance'. She must have come across problems with an insurance claim not paying out for her to be so jaundiced

then surely she has to pay for it! I would make her pay and say it is stated and you are doing it to protect yourself!

I'm going for the line of least resistance here, I will pack exactly as she stipulates and pay for the ISF to cover myself, because the cup and saucer sold for 3 times the amount I expected it to I suppose I can afford it.

I sometimes think a few negs are good for a seller (I don't sell myself), on the grounds that it will probably stop the sort of nitpicking idiot you really don't want to deal with from buying from you.

I can honesly say that I consider 99% positive and above to be as good as 100%, and would have no problems dealing with anyone who has above 98%.

Less than that and I might have a little root around to see what the comments were.
