11am - Gates open, Model aircraft flights on beach
11.30am - Royal Marine unarmed combat on beach
12.15pm - Air displays start
5.30pm - Air displays end
5.45pm - Model aircraft flights on beach (to 6.45pm)
7pm - Beach re-opens
Thats the timetable as for whats on all I know of is the Euro Fighter, not to sure on the time and Red Arrows at 5pm. Im sure there will be plenty inbetween
There was supposed to be model aircraft flights on saturday too, but they didn't appear! So the the first thing was at 11.30 and the unarmed combat. (Unless we were looking at the wrong part of the beach that is!)
It was much better in the morning than the afternoon, as it seemed to slow down quite a bit, and there were longer gaps between the flights.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
A good show as always, weather not great for photos

but got a few of the Red Arrows who were superb:T

These 2 were impressive as well
and the Merlin was nice
Didn't make it on Sunday because of weather, but wanted to see the poppy drop:o the Airbus was impressive but had to stay too far from the coast for safety reasons and 2 kids at my feet restricted photo opportunities:rotfl:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -

A Nikon D300 and a 500mm F1.8 lens, weights a bloody tonne:eek: but takes some good piccies, unfortunately the lens is not mine but borrowed from a friend who does sports photography;) I couldn't afford one on my meagre health service wages:rotfl:I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:0 -

Yeah, they are great pictures! I was only using a small cannon digital compact, so it explains the difference! lolNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
