Great photo Dave, I too couldn't believe how slow it flew even when some miles from Edinburgh airport.

Amazing pic dave! Im quite jealous lol. We ended up just going to Hazelbank as we didnt have time to go over to the east. Quite a few people at hazelbank and it was amazing to see the A380, got some pics but yours put mine to shame lol

Not sure if we will get up the road to the port tomorrow, so if anyones going have a great time.

What was the noise like over in the east with the A380? There was no noise at all over at Hazelbank, surprising as an Easyjet one was worse just before it lol. It was quite windy though.

Very little noise at all, the Ryanair that took off after it mad a lot more noise than the A380.

Post your pics up I would be interested to see whet it looked like from Hazlebank

You need to have an account on a 3rd party site like Photobucket.com (free BTW) then upload to it and then click on the "wee postcard" insert image and copy and paste the address of you pic.

The IKEA car park had a few hundred people there, they where on the grass banks across the road as well. IKEA had cordoned off the first row of parking spaces so that worked out well for everyone to see.

As for uploading I did mine through photobucket, just join up, upload your pics and then with each pic you will see a Share this Image box, copy the direct link option. Then post a message on here and click the Insert Image icon and paste the link into it. Dont worry about quality just want to see how it looked from there

Thanks Dave, i had the sigma 24-70 2.8 on it, I wish i had of used my zoom 55-250 IS, I had to crop in a lot of the photos in photoshop. My thinking was i can always crop in if it was to wide.

I take it your photo was from the 2nd pass, he made the turn very tight, you don't see many coming into Belfast like that.
