    Don't forget,
    If you've got an HSBC account, the larger branches have coin counting machines :D, so you don't need bags, and the money is credited into your account by the end of the day, and there's no commission taken out, unlike the coinstar machines :eek:. The only downside is pushing a wheelbarrow through town with your pot in :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    £5 for the tin today - made up of 2 x £2 coins lol and a £1

    Have been looking for a new sealed tin for next year's challenge and haven't seen any cheapy ones anywhere - begrudge paying £3-£5 for a tin - MSE definitely rubbing off on me now lol none of the pound shops have them in yet!!!

    If you have a Poundland near you i just got a big tin from there for £1:D

    -Pound stretcher
    -Clinton cards
    -Card factory
    -Pound Land
    -Wilkinson's

    Oh also Matalan have these lovely (Re usable) heavy silver things , shaped , pig , car , bike and they were 4 pounds :).

    I have a nice 5 pounds to go into my tin :)

    How is everyone doing with their Christmas shopping? I am doing O.K

    Lc2 :) glad ur getting your Christmas shopping done :) I too will be enjoying doing hampers this year as well! Although my November wages will not be good as i have 2 weeks off due to the operation recovery time

    My mum cooked me a lovely dinner and it took me almost a hour to eat it , killed my throat/neck/jaw ... never , ever get your tonsils out :( not worth the agony after wards lol.

    TheBees are still adding a few coins every day and look forward to 1st December for the big count. :j

    I've managed to get myself a 3 month temporary contract at a posh supermarket beginning with W over Christmas and everything I earn is going to be thrown at the mortgage.
