I've (re)started my pot with a £2 coin. Will be interesting to see how much I manage to save by the year end.

Hello all. Been months since I popped in here :( Think I'm gonna burn in hell or maybe somewhere even hotter too. My tin got opened ages ago, all sorts of needs unfortunately (Boo, hiss!!). However I was never temped to ask for my work savings club money back (£25 gets deducted straight from my weekly wage, Jan to November end.) So still done well there and that will be given back the start of December I think.

I've also bought my TWO saving tins from Bhs already, Okay so they were £3 each, but they have cool designs & theres no plug to get in easy. One tin is for silver, the other for notes & £1 coins. Coppers go in those little coin bags you get from the bank & will be swapped for a few pound coins when full. Already been banging the money in, there's no stopping me this time!

Roadkill? I don't normally find, but I was using one of those awful self sevice checkouts in Tescos the other day but It didn't seem to work, giving out a "Notes are dispensed below the scanner" warning. It suddenly clicked that someone had left a fiver in the cash drop tray :)

Hiya LC 2, no problem as it wasn't your fault at all. Towards the weekend you said something to sparky and he replied to you missing off the vital 2. Therefore LC thought her name was being wrongly used. Don't worry about it though as she's not worried too much but was just letting sparky know that she is the one and only LC!!! :j

In case of any confusion to others; Little Chicken is known as LC
luckycharlie is known as LC 2
and Elsie is known as Our Elsie (by the way, where the devil are you again Elsie??)

I hope that sorts things out a little; no need for any punches to be thrown...other than at sparky who just made a simple mistake!!! :j:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sue (I'm me, the one and only!) :D:D:D

I am able to duck, you know, Sue :rotfl:, and I am only a male, too many of you ladies picking on me this week, I'm going to go and lie down in a darkened room :D, or maybe kerfuffle's got a spare room for me to hide in ;).

There are a few people who've gone AWOL over the last couple of weeks, hope they're all OK.

Anyhow, if anyone is passing Mathew street in Liverpool city centre on Friday about 11:00 am, look out for a group of scooters, and mods outside the Cavern Club, I'll be in amongst them, there's a photo shoot for a mod weekend in May 2010, and they wanted some mods on scooters to come down, me being the shy retiring type ;), thought I'd go along for the ride :rotfl:
