  • here was little old me sat at work thinking i found some road change and need to share and found the old thread locked! shows how often i have been online lately, sorry folks!

Anyway, 5p found for me, i now have a car and the additional expense has left me a little short this month, i am trying to stretch out what i have left to see if i can make it to pay day (the 30th) without spending will keep you updated on the progress - i have to say, that especially after going BR, i am more greatful than ever for my sealed pot as i have it there in emergencies in place of any credit card or over draft that i used to depend on.

Anyway, a belated happy new thread :)
  • LC good luck with the op

Can't riffle through DH's pockets at the mo - he's broken a bone in his finger so is at home for between 2 and 6 weeks depending on how it heals Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [he's just told me to tell you that he has no money anyway cos I get it all!!] So he won't be out spending anything as he can't drive to the shops. the worst bit is .................... I have to do the blerdy cooking

    Have a nice day

Sue, I see the Indian Headdress!!

Everyone else, it's not actually an Indian Headdress, it is the picture of the tenners which, if you are not looking directly at it but out of the corner of your eye, looks like an Indian Headdress. It is in Top Deals This Week. Free £100 + Travel Insurance.

  • Well I put 20 quid+ over the weekend into my sealed pot.

Yep - 20 quid. My OH - after buying him a treat - felt guilty for me spending so much (unplanned!) money on him - so handed me half the cost of the treat.

But he handed me 4x£5 notes.

I looked at them. They look at me.
Then they whispered "we are such a smmaaalll denomination, so perfect for buying little treats with!! You didn't even plan to get us!! SPEND USSSSSSS!".

Straight into the saving jar with them!
