    Hi All
    Ive not been around for a while but have been here in spirit. Ive had the big count up today as Im working for the next few days. I was quite impressed since we had a few lean months when DH was made redundant. Everythings ok now though so Ive already resealed the pots for next year.

    £278.00

    Feels great to really cut down the christmas bill.

    Good luck everyone. I hope youve all done as well as you hope.

    Well done tioddly widdly, I'll add your total to the spreadsheet, impressive sum :T

    My sealed pot challenge went pear shaped this year. I started off well with a HUGE box to fill but had to raid it when I went a bit mad with my credit card and ebay. This was only a few months in and my finances were in meltdown.:confused:

    I never replenished the pot :mad: so wont be able to join you all in opening it on the 1st. However, I am aiming high for next year and will round up all my loose coins and put them all in the pot on the 1st with the aim of opening the same 1 year later :j

    Better luck next year Flat Eric, at least you had the money to pay your CC bill ;)

    Kerfuffle,
    Fantastic news on the job offer, absolutely made up for you hun :T

    I've added up my tin [done it last night] cos I won't get the time between now and then and the grand total [including what I took out earlier] is..............................

    £165.00

    Go me :beer::beer:

    My original target was £125 so I'm well chuffed with meself lol. I can go out and buy the last bits for Xmas now and some food for the big day.

    Thanks to everyone for the idea, encouragement and inspiration to do this.
    Special thanks to Sue and Sparky.
    I've started the new tin with the bits left over from this years tin so count me in for the next challenge

    Thanks
    Helen x
