If they are available I stand corrected - but all the ones I have seen that advertise themselves as multi-region are not blueray multi region - only standard DVD multi-region.
A quick trip round google will throw up a number of manufacturers of machines capable of playing blue ray discs from all regions0 -
I got a Sony BDP360 Blu Ray multi region and the quality of playback is awaesome.
IMHO you need a decent 1080i/P TV and 42" + to see the benefit. There is little point if you have a small TV."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Yeah, if the player's multi region, it's probably for DVD only. Very few are multi-region capable for Blu-Ray playback.
Having said that, quite a few Blu-Ray discs are Region ABC, so it's less of an issue.
I've go a 32" Toshiba and you can see the difference at 720p. Better image definition (especially on animated titles), better colour definition, and I use an external sound processor and the sound's a definite improvement, too.
I've got a Sony BDP 350 and it's a great player.0 -

You can get players that do play all Blue Ray disc - no matter what region they are from/for.0 -
The PS3 gives you the most features for your money. There is a new Slim one at £250 so the old 'Fat' ones will drop in price (hopefully).0
