Husband is asking what you all think of Blueray DVD players ? Are they worth getting and can you watch all DVDs on them?

Assuming you've got a decent high def TV, yes and yes.

If you have a multi region player than you can watch discs from anywhere otherwise you may have some problems.

You could get a PS3 - plays bluerays and does games into the bargain

the main question for me is what TV do you have?
no point going for bluray if you wont 'see' the benefits

Just to clarify - a multi region blueray player will only play all standard dvds, not blueray discs that are for a different region.

Multi region blue ray players are available so the above is incorrect.
