  • Oooh - SH, I have always wanted to do belly dancing, I might check out lunchtime sessions near my new ofices. You go lady!

Camping is OK, just don't take anything of value and leave it all in the tent, it feels really weird as you leave each morning but I don't know anyone that has had a problem yet (touches wood)

I have got vetos in place for all presents that aren't for kids or my parents (my parents are xmas presents only and they don't like me giving a present but I like to after I sponged off them for years at uni, I actually want to save a chunk of money in the future and give back the money that they spent on me, I know they don't have enough pension provision so when they get to a certain age and I have a certain level of savings I would like to help them out back - get me talking about savings  just need to shift the debt first)

my sis and I never buy for each other. we either pass on something we've been given and don't want, something we've had for free or we hand make something.

The review I read says you have to leave all embarassment at the door!

Savings very sorry about the job - I went to your diary first hoping for good news but they're the ones that have missed out

Tirl sorry you're feeling down and keep saving for the hols as we need nice things to aim for.

Wooohooo PAID well bargained. Why are your current work being difficult  Still not sure I've forgiven you for eating :rudolf:as long as you don't start on :santa2: I'll cope.

You can keep all the jaffa cakes cos they are yukky and the less biscuits I eat the more likely I could try belly dancing without cause an injury to myself or surrounding peeps :rotfl:

Starnac, I've never been a huge fan of camping but can be spontaneous economical and fun if it does rain the entire time so maybe worth a try :D

i'm sure there's a law against sending deer in the post. i'll have to check that one.

hi shelley. i'm not a fan of camping either. why would i want to sleep on the floor with all the bugs and stuff and not shower for a week/weekend?? but it's better for getting away at short notice and will probably work out cheaper than going abroad. DH says we can go away as often as we like if we camped so the thought of having a holiday (haven't had one since our honeymoon 4years ago) outweighed the fear of camping.

by the way :T on your savings. you're doing really well

Thanks 25% seems like a fab milestone but it's on a theorectical house and I tend to find ones that cost more - why is that the story of my life :rotfl:

I'll be keen to hear about the camping trips maybe you'll convert me!

but at least you'll have a decent deposit so that if you do find a house that's a bit more you'll have a big chunk of cash ready that you won't "have to find"
