Get well soon CAFCGirl and enjoy the Greggs!
tirlittan - glad you're ok. Never been to Slovenia, what will you be doing there?
PAID - so where are your hols then? Come on, make us jealous!
love SW xx (enjoying a day of scoffing chocolate and tramping round in rain puddles in my waterproof boots like a litte kid. And arm muscles still hurting from Sunday's run - how can that be??)

CAFC - sorry to hear you're in pain. Hope you get it sorted soon. Do you know when the exemtion is supposed to come through?
PAID - No holidays in 2010 after April??? No days off? Going anywhere nice and will it be worth it for the rest of the year?
Can't wait to go to N.Ireland a) cos never been and b) could really do with some time off from my booooring job. Also planning a walking holiday to Slovenia in end of May/June. That is, if I'm still with bf then (but no more of that talk now!).
Hope everyone else is well.
LOL - well a bit of an exaggeration, but not much leave for the rest of the year, will probably muster up a couple of long weekends and then keep a couple for emergencies.
Aus, NY and Singapore:D very excited

Tirl hun, I feel your pain on the OH front. I have been doing some thinking recently about 'where are we going and why are we bothering' no idea if I want to do anything about it am sort of stuck in a weird limbo. Sounds like you are further along than me though. I hope that whatever happens is what is right for you.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Thanks hun
Annoyingly he is nothing but lovely and has done nothing to make me feel like this.
It really is not him but me (where is that rolleyes smiley when you need it) he wants to move on to the next stage (he would have us moved in together and married in a heartbeat but I am just not made that way).
If/when the end comes, I shall be on here with a vengeance sobbing into my keyboard though, so I will assume the offer is indefinitely open if that is OK....£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Of course the offer is indefinitely open
At least he is good to you and treats you well, but if you don't want to get married and move in then you can't force yourself to do it.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I was thinking that last night but didn't want to presume anything.Perhaps PAID could give you some advice, from her perspective. It might help you to understand your boyfriend more?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I've a girlfriend, now married, who had her own house, but no previous relationships as such, but was very careful with the guy she then married. Took her two year to give him keys to her house etc. So I've had talks with her and gotten some possible insight and any is always appreciated. However, I know something about bf's past with his ex. I think they met in the last year of uni, then bf got a job in Wales and they moved together, then 2-3 years later they bought the house he now lives in. So not exactly dragging it out with the tiimescales...End of this month we've been together for two years and he still calls me a guest in his house. And the all important words are still not said...I can see the end looming, but I don't want it. Whilst he's been on his hols, I've nothing but thought about how to bring the subject up with him, and about the timing, when to do it. I've probably cried myself to sleep every night cos I don't want it to end, but can't see how it realistically will have any other ending.

In what way does he refer to you as his guest?
The good signs are that you have met his parents and are going to his Granny's party in Northern Ireland so at least he has introduced you as his partner to them. Did his last girlfriend hurt him? Maybe he is afraid of opening up again?
And when he says he isn't ready to move in - what does he say? What would he say if you gave him an ultimatum - do you think he would rather lose you than open up to you?
Sorry for all the questions but it might help you with framing things in your own mind.
