I'd move in with my bf and could afford it, but he's not ready. He's got his own place, has no other debts except mortgage and has much better salary than I do.
I've lived in ex's lovely house before and when going to uni. Then on my own, and then sharing, so it's been quite strange. When I moved to Cardiff, I didn't know anyone here, so sharing was actually really nice. Now I'd just like to live on my own or with bf, but the best I can probably do next year, is to move in with a shared house with less people.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

My OH works for a charity and they were having a fundraiser day and some of their doners were invited! He took a group round on a tour and a couple had come down by motorbike so as he has one they started chatting. They had bought a newer one and had an "old" one sat on the drive - doing nothing - did he want it? He snatched their little hands off and we got it this weekend. All kosher and above board - legal ownership docs changed hands etc:j:j:jEvening SH, fab news about the job, although not ideal a jobs a job

We will keep it as currently only have 1 car which I use and a motorbike which he uses. His motorbike was literally at the end of its life so he's thrilled to bits - especially as this one has heated seats and handlebars! It's always been his dream to have one like that so to be given one - no strings attached is absolutely amazing! I wouldn't get in the way of that - not when it was free! We are not able to run 2 cars at the mo - but this is a significant step up from his other bike which looks like a toy in comparison!
Looks a bit like this
His "new" motorbike is probably now worth more than my car!:rotfl:Now that is what you call a freebie !! And definitely good luck. Do you think I can post it on the £10 a day challenge :rotfl:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
