Good afternoon all! Yes it's brass monkeys today, should have got some discount thermal undies Horace!
Well said Lula - particularly the bit about the chocolate - agree with Numpty, ought to try out a sample first before passing judgement.....
It's true also that sometimes you give advice which is not taken, and then the person wanting the advice is still wondering how to get out of their sticky situation further down the line.....when you have a difficult situation to deal with then you often get told things you would rather not hear, things which turn out to be right all along. Maybe when we have our light bulb moments we should use the 100% full fat megawatty old style bulbs and not the eco cheapo ones!!
What a load of garbage I have just written - must be a senior moment kicking in.....need resuscitation....chocolate etc etcOne life - your life - live it!0 -
And by the way I have just rescued this thread from page 2.One life - your life - live it!0

Just returned from a magical mystery tour...got to airport and waited and waited, finally the last person off was Steve and his mum who was already out in Corfu. He was really pleased that I had turned up to meet him - I am not normally so bold (guess it must be my age and a devil may care attitude). Had a chat until the bus came to take him & mummy to the carpark at Coleshill..went back to Bham Intnl Station and was directed to platform 4 for the train to bham new street - only it wasnt and I ended up in Coventry:mad: Now home safe and sound and absolutely starving as have had nothing to eat all day:rolleyes:
Watch this space..well, s'pose I had better go and eat my microwave dinner before it goes cold, this is a late lunch and I may cook one of my cheapo steaks later.0 -

I stupidly listened to an employee of the railway who told me that the train was the one for Birmingham..what he should have said is that it was from Birmingham and going to Euston:rolleyes:
As for meeting him twice so what...I shall be meeting him some more soon, his mum is nice and has a sense of humour too.
Numpty..I was your friend but I have gone right off you now...this nice chap has no need to kill me:p You are a cheeky monkey and may your brass bits fall off in the cold:p:p:p0 -
Have the aliens taken Birmingham?
Will Horace find true romance with Steve?
Will Numpty ever get his SOA figures sorted?
What has Lula done with all the chocolate weetabix brownies?
