Buonas Dias...the criminal is back from Spain:j Dumbo dared to try and bring home a bottle of suntan lotion and horror or horrors had bought a bottle of juice at the bus station in Alicante and even production of the receipt didnt allow me to keep it and they refused to allow me to drink it at the security desk:mad: My bag was emptied out and I am afraid that I did get a bit shirty with the stupid mare..still I hope she enjoyed rummaging in my laundry bag.

Oh...and on the way out...I met a man;)

Hello all! Hope you are hanging in there Ang, whatever the problem may be.

Horace you little devil you! Drunk and disorderly at Customs, picking up strange men in airports, whatever next!!!!

Is it just me or is the whole tone of DFW a bit sombre and doom-laden? Or are we picking up more people with problems the further we go into recession?

Well, I met this man called Steve at Birmingham airport on Sunday night (in my wisdom I got there good and early for an early flight on Monday morning)..first stop Smiths for books, then I moved from seat to seat, got chatting to a chap who photographs superbikes for the World Moto GP series and he gave me 3 of his photos:cool: and then I met Steve. Steve is taller than me, has a wicked sense of humour, is a widower and he works as a postman somewhere over by Boston, Lincs. He was flying to Corfu and bumped into me whilst I was sitting on the massage chair..he came and sat on the chair next to me and we got chatting - even to the point of looking after each others bags when we went to the loo:eek: We stayed awake all night chatting..then we checked in together..wandering around airside and stopping in the pub for breakfast..then we discovered that our gates were next to each other but before we headed to the gate we swapped emails and phone numbers and promised to contact each other when we got home - he flies back on Monday (so hope to meet him in town):cool:

Spent my holiday wishing I was in Corfu with him:D

Oh and what I didnt say was that I had a hug and a kiss from him as he went to board his plane:cool::D:eek::j

So now you know;)

Spain ok - hot until Thursday night and then it rained and rained and rained. Spent large part of Thursday on my todd and being frightened by gangsters dropping guns in the square (I legged it), mainly lounged on the beach in the afternoons, shopped in the mornings, shopped in the evening. Spent money in chinese shops and where I couldn't buy bra's in M&S managed to get a bra and knicker set in one chinese shop for 3 euros and a bra in another shop for 1 euro. Picked up a bikini too for 4 euro (see last of the big spenders:rotfl:) I bought a hand painted fan for my neighbour cost 2 euros:D Did spend 20 euros in C&A though on a very nice jumper with silky blouse attachment.
