Notice to newcomers - part 5

Afternoon all..today I have been mainly slobbing out in front of the telly:rolleyes: We had a liberal dusting to snow last night and everything looked frozen today (I havent ventured out), I am thankful that I had the sense to get the anti-freeze out of the car the other day:D Need to go out for milk, the bank and get a few bits of food tomorrow.

Be thankful that we are not in Poland where 13 people have died from the cold as it is -18 there:eek: Central Europe, Spain and Italy have all had punishingly cold weather.

Sorry you have the snots Numpty..snots is good as it means that it is a fast moving bug..I am still fighting something off:rolleyes:

Well I didn't get further than the garden today, and only then to stand around with the dog and I've had the heating on all day so its quite toasty here.

Someone on ebay has one with gas canisters from £12 :eek: light them in the garden and run indoors:D( i wouldn't touch that with pole)

I have a camping stove and plenty of gas but I wouldnt use it in the flat. I also have a large bbq but again I wouldnt use it indoors and there is no way on this earth that I am going to trudge down two flights of stairs to go and play in the garden:eek:

It is so cold in the kitchen that the icebox in the fridge has defrosted itself because it is warmer than the kitchen:rolleyes:

A bump from 2

I have been watching the Timothy Spall drama on tv tonight, I'm not a huge tv person but it does look like there is some good Christmas tv over the next couple of weeks.

Need to decide if I'm well enough to go to work tomorrow - think I'll wait and see how I feel in the morning. Best set the alarm just in case.
