Solvent - did you like the Shaun the Sheep episode where Shaun gets a girlfriend? I laughed at the bit where they sneaked on to a bus for some privacy and the other sheep followed them, supposedly in disguise but looking like refugees from a ZZ Top convention.....

    Evening all.

Did anyone hear the end of Terry's show? I heard some of it en route from work, but missed the end. Apparently the last song of the show was going to be a bit of a tear jerker. My guess was Tel's duet with Aled Jones "Little Drummer Boy" - am I right or shall I just crawl back into my box and shut up?

Hi Nargle, yes, I heard it, the last song was Auld Lang Syne - bit predictable, I thought....

Hi again Nargle, yep, liked that one too - thought the bus bit was brilliant (definitely ZZ Top, the beards were great!) and also the dog on the skateboard with the pizza delivery boyl!! Going to miss Shaun when they stop showing them...

Hello to everyone else, sorry, neglecting you.
Horace, really hope you don't get another power cut tonight.
    Hope everyone else is well.

Auld Lang Syne, eh? Still think Little Drummer Boy would have been good. Anyway, will now have lazy evening watching Victorian Farm Christmas on TV then early bedtime. Good night all.

Hi Nargle - senior moment earlier, don't know what I thought I was listening to. It was actually "The party's over", much more appropriate but not sure who sang it .... It was Ken Bruce afterwards playing a bit of Auld Lang Syne.

Hello to everyone else and goodnight from me ..

PS: Hello Lula, that was a quick visit

Morning All and especially to lovely Lula - was wondering yesterday where you had been, will pop over to the quest to find out.

Think I'll brave going out today, really need to get the last few bits for that thing next week.

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P

A new reminder for the start of page 100 of part 5 and hello to all newbies as well as the oldies:santa2:
