Lula - know how you feel, I hate crowds. No way will I venture into a big shopping centre at this time of year for the privilege of queueing up to get into the car park.

Horace - riding boots? Where's your horse? Save on bus fares and get free fertiliser for your window box as well.

Numpty, I know just how you feel - I was unemployed for a large part of this year and the end of last, and the people at the jobcentre nearly drove me demented!! Hang on in there, something will turn up for you. Take care :A

Happy New clothes H am not jealous of you having spent 2 1/2 years of Crazy Clothes Challenge budget in one afternoon. Not at all. Much.

Nargle - my riding boots are ankle boots and I love 'em..I use them for riding on the odd occasion that I go but mainly I use them for general use - they look fab with jeans:D My old pair has well and truly worn out as the soles are holey and they cannot be repaired:rolleyes: but..I did have them for 5 years:D

Numpts..things will improve next year I am sure of it - as for jobcentres working on Saturdays..they all seem to do it these days to cope with all the unemployed (I wonder if they get paid time and a half?).
