Morrisons is okay - I go sometimes because catfood is often on offer and as they have a real butcher they often have packs of lamb bones which I buy for my dog (thats if I get to them before the MSE folk who plan on boiling them up for soup or something:confused:).

I, however don't like any supermarkets and have no routine (and consequently frequently run out of things:o) I go hotch potch to any supermarket. All supermarkets make me feel ill and I have been known to half fill a trolley and then leave because I get so stressed.
And as for those self-scan tills - grrr don't get me started- I have been known to get half way through scanning and leave empty handed due to too many 'unexpected item in the bagging area' annoucements

Brrrr...its flippin' cold and I feel as though I have been walking around the city centre naked:eek: - I havent I had my smart black cords on along with nice jumper and a mac:rolleyes: Had a good look around the banquetting suite at the council house and through to the museum - highly recommended and they're cheap as chips:cool:

Made the mistake of walking through the German Market and espied my favourite marshmallow chocs - bought 10 for £4 and then decide that when I get a box of other stuff that it would be wise to put them ontop of the chocs - came home and have 2.5 chocs that are still whole and the rest are mush which has now been spooned into a cereal bowl:rolleyes: Picked up 3 nice glass ornaments too for the christmas tree and then spotted a cheapo shop that was closing down and spent £3 in there - one bangle for me and 2 sets of bangles for my chum (they are indian bangles so I thought I did quite well as I know she will like them).

Need to go to the bank too but will wait until I have warmed up a bit before venturing out there again:rolleyes:

Tixy - do your supermarket shop online, saves the stress and hassle, and who knows, maybe a nice man like Mr Rog will deliver your order?

Numpty - dare I say it, Martian are clearly not on the same planet as the rest of us? (Pathetic attempt at wit, I know, but it is late in the day)

Horace - you didn't have to deliberately squash your choccies in order to get that chocolate hit, they do Coco Pops you know!

    Hi everybody.

Over the last few weeks we have had a number of "troll" attacks on the boards.

What is a Troll? A troll is a person that posts deliberately provocative, nasty or hurtful comments on threads. They may be a person with no previous connection to the board or someone that has created a pseudonym to get their point made.

If you should get a comment made on any thread you post asking for help and advice please realise this comment is not directed at you personally.
We really are all a lovely bunch here (oops, modest, sorry) so please ignore these nasty comments and continue to post here as normal.

what should i do if i get a comment made on my thread?

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.

    Kind wishes
    P
