Rog - was about to say the pen should replace the keyboard but then we wouldn't have MSE... so maybe the keyboard needs to stay for a while...

I spoke too soon about the weather - the sun soon went back in and it became gloomy again..it is now dark:rolleyes:

I have rested, ritten, done my rithmatic and my reading:D

Rog..they do say that the pen is mightier than the sword and is more useful than a keyboard as it means that I can write nice letters using a proper fountain pen..can't do that with a keyboard its so impersonal:rolleyes:

Here's me on my todd..cooking a joint of beef for dinner complete with roasties and all the trimmings (although my yorkie puds are aunt bessies) - or rather I am about to go and cook it..how decadent is that have enough roast beef to feed 4 and yet there is little ol' me to eat it:cool:

I'm on my own, too (not counting the cats) but my wife has prepare the sauce for 'tagliatelli al salmone affumicata' - using 'Smart Price smoked salmon bits of course.
Might even stretch to a glass of wine. :beer:

Yes I did Numpty - I was in the A stream for English at school:p
I also did Latin which helps with my English.

Anyway the reading, riting and rithmatic came about from a politician back in the 1920s I think it was who recommended that children should learn reading, writing and arithmatic but as in the case of some politicians of the day he was unable to read, write or spell ..hence him thinking that writing began with an r as did arithmatic:p So now you know:D

firstly do not respond to the comment as this invariably is what the person wants. At the bottom of the post, on the left hand side is a red "warning" triangle. Click this and then "send" the message that comes up. This will report the message to abuse who will review it's content and delete it.

The person we had this morning was particularly vile and nasty and please believe me is an extreme rarity here.
Above all PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE THE BOARDS. THIS SITE IS AN ASSET TO SO MANY, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT FEELS THE WORLD IS FALLING IN ON YOU. THERE IS SUCH A WEALTH OF ADVICE HERE TO BE HAD THAT THE COMMENTS OF ONE MUST NOT DETER YOU FROM AVAILING YOURSELF OF THE KNOWLEDGE HERE!!!!

It is testament to the work that martin has done and continues to do that so many people give their time knowledge and experience freely to others, without judgement, to lift people out of the depths of debt crisis

PLEASE DO NOT LET THE ACTIONS OF THE MINORITY RUIN THAT.
